This is the comment I've been waiting for! I totally agree with you and whenever I looked at all the hating on him even though they never really tried to see things from Sangmin's point of view.
Whenever there are those [I transmigrated into the body of a villain/villainess] novels, the MC always gets so much compassion and the previous owner of the body gets pity for the way they were treated before. But why is it that when it comes to these type of 'villains' people just totally ignore the fact that they're suffering?!
I think Sangmin is always losing his dog because HE is killing it. There's a chapter that clearly portrays it tho.

Looking at the front page, I'm surprise that it was not a shounein ai or a yaoi manga. Tbh, out of all the characters here I can say that Sangmin deserves so much better and he as well, deserves a second life!! Im aware that he's a bully and portrayed as a villain in this webtoon but he's character is the most pitiful and sad character and for him to re-LIVE this shitty life as well (altho without the memories of his past) is very frustrating. Imagine altho Jihyun experienced a worst life after growing up atleast his parents loved him and supported him. But thinking about Sangmin case: Have an abusive dad both mentally and physically (whom I really love to kill), a bad older brother and a mom with mental illness while growing up, always alone and tho he is provided with a silver platter don't have anyone behind his back is really painful. Considering that Jihyun get the last thing that he have which is the 1st place. He was ranked 2nd all his life and labeled "not as good enough" when he's on par with a second-life lead like Jihyun is really cruel. I know that he will not received a good ending after all this, so I'm silently rooting that somehow he could atleast receive love and understanding.
Lastly, its hypocritical for Jihyun to call Sangmin as a friend, when he didn't even CARE that much to him. Remember, despite knowing that he isn't treated well by his older brother, he never asked him about anything. He don't even question further about Sangmin always lossing his dog's life altho its weird. He is busy with his second life focusing on himself only. When Sangmin offered the 10 billion won, I can feel that it was the last straw of his friendship for Jihyun. Imagine having a friend who's really good at something and they are taking it for granted while you have to listen from your bastard father every damn time that you are never going to be good enough and that you have a filthy blood!! so frustrating!!!
