People aren’t kink shaming. Rape play is one thing bc it’s consent and that’s how that works. Actual blackmail and rape is another. This artist had potential to make a hot story without the rape.
Why read a fictional story with con-noncon, when you can just write/draw noncon? No one is getting hurt and those who don't like rape stories can just not read it. And I usually hate the whole "don't like don't read" mentality, but if those kinds of stories are triggering, don't read them. It's like complaining about omegaverse on an omegaverse story.
At this point, im not really in for the romance or sum. Though I'll stay just cuz the 'rape' scene.
