I like the story . The ending is rushed.... there's no discussion of how they will go through their gnormous problems...

Since this is just made up, I wish the author didn't use blindness as a disability.... deafness would have sufficed like due to explosion. Or something. Blindess is so tough to hurdle. Good thing the FL turns out to be one with very strong character despite her " Ms. Socialite " reputation.

    If you want to read a book that treats blindness very well, try "The Ivory Cane," a Harlequin by Janet Daily written some years ago (available on kindle). Blindness is a tough hurdle, but there are those who take their hurdle and make it into their strength. My favourite organist, Helmut Walcha, was blind from early childhood, and yet played and composed music as well as any sighted musician and composer. He could master a complicated piece of music by hearing someone else play it through, then play the right hand, then the left hand. After listening to the entire piece a second time, he was ready to play it.
