HiHo. I think the cop fell for the MC as they were investigating the case. Same reason, maybe, why he got senpai's phone. He mentioned that it was only a matter of time to catch senpai, meaning he has leads. It's just that, they can't get a hold of him. About senpai not really loving him coz senpai did it with men and women who looks like him, I think it is his personal move to tell MC that senpai is a very horrible person coz he did the same with anyone as long as he looks like the MC.

I think the cop as had some guilt for not catching the rapist years ago because it looks like he was also involved with that case and he knew the guy gave a false statement so it had to become close to him that he would protect unconsciously. And the phone was probably dropped when they ran after him.i feel like the cop knew who was the stalker but didn’t have proof and needed the rapist to be caught red handed leaving the notes.
I’m a little bit confused with the second story. I understand that the rapist is the senpai but why at the end does the cop say he was lying about the Senpai being in love with him? Didn’t when we see the senpai‘s room he only had pictures of the MC in there??? Wasn’t the Senpai really obsessed with MC?? Please explain somebody~~
