Appearantly. That’s why I always role my eyes when people mouth off about not liking a story about rape, seeing as this manga now has a 8.3 rating, but manga like Painter of Night has a rating of 9.7. I can’t take the comments seriously. The hypocrisy.

Omg same! Like if you like rape themes then whatever floats your boat, but there shouldn't be a difference between the rape in this manga and the others. But honestly, both of those stories are so sad for the ukes
People are mad over this story because of the rape and stuff, but people are super into other manga like Painter of Night where the character literally also gets raped. I don’t get people.
