yeah, people really should wait for the story to be complete before they rate stuff. It is very rare for me to rate something that isn't finished because of this.

How can someone not read something and have an opinion on it? We read and we didn't like so much. If you disagree, that's okay, afterall opinion is like a butthole: everyone has their own and you don't go poking it around.
(at least not without consent)
