If this is like other comics

It's sad that the step-brother-esq character wants to take away Suk-yun's things because he felt suk-yun had a monopoly over his biological father (which is actually a thing some people refer to as the "adopted child syndrome" where the parents of an adopted child go out of their way to care for them to the point they neglect or severely neglect their biological children). In a way I think he wants monopoly over Suk-yun, to possess everything he wants as a sort of petty revenge for taking away love he felt he should have had as a child. But instead of blaming his father, he blames his less-than-perfect cinnamonroll suk-yun. I wouldn't mind if the brother character has his own story and way of healing from his past and childhood and could find his own happiness--especially so he can frickin stop trying to screw up Suk-yun's relationships!!!!!

What’s frustrating is a love for will be introduced but it won’t circle back to have the p.o.s seme seek closure and answered from my neglecting parent just redirect that raw emotion into a new sexual conquest and be enough of a remedy. It’s unfortunate that it would make the plot that more greater if realism was to be introduced but we know it’s only angst to carry until he’s encountered a partner that can “fix” him. It’s really not healthy and just gives the impression that he’s being rewarded for the sake of having personal problems that would actually be remedied by parental reconciliation.

It would be nice if he could have his own redemption arc where he sort of learns (because it's a process, dammit) to overcome the neglect in his life and value himself instead of projecting his issues on his step-brother figure... maybe confront his father about it, talk to others about it---and *then* he could meet a sweet boi would just melt their heart so he can understand what true love feels like, especially when it's reciprocated--and be able to understand what his step-brother has is special too. And because he has faced his issues, he is able to open up to them and talk to about it.
BUT that would be too I guess? Creators like to make their characters struggle so idk what's going to happen (heaven's know I do) ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
