She said if she dies maybe she can get back to the real world and get out of the game, she also thinks there's a chance the Restart button will appear when she is about to die that's why she is aiming to die. She is still thinking of her existence and the story as solely a game system
Man, how much shit does Penelope go through to want to try dying? She just glossed over the fact too, ma'am this is YOUR LIFE we're talking about. I feel so bad for her, it really does feel like a "damned if i do, damned if I don't" situation. This story's one of my favorites lately
