I feel the authors did a good job of setting up the context of Shin disliking Wolfgangs hands on approach when it comes to his safety and well being. They even show Shin feeling like he is Wolfgangs singularly flaw and weakness.
It’s pretty clear they are setting the story up for Shin to make a major self sacrificing move to protect Wolfgang. He knows Wolfgang would never allow this or intervene before Shin can get to the root of the organization, so for now he is keeping the emperor at arms length.
Shin 100% knows the duke is suspicious. He noted his red hair and scaled forearms in the tower, as well as the suspicious means for which he was there. It’s a long con, we just gotta trust our boy.
And if the authors made the scheme more direct with Shin including the king in everything, the story would be boring and too direct. Ijs.
I saw the raws, that's why I say he's playing stupid games. Playing the martyr is stupid. Also, it's how the season ends, SPOILER: apparently just after wolf rescue him, Shin tells him he (wolf) needs a wife. Like the dude went through torture for him and now wants him to get married to someone else. Yeah, great move. Again I'm not fan of the martyr thing Shin has going on.
I think neither you or me can know how the story would be if other choices were made. I can talk about the plot we have now. And whether if it's boring or not depends on the person. Me personally i find the martyr thing Shin has going on to be boring and incoherent. It would have been possible for Shin to plot together with Wolf and still make a self sacrificing move at the end if it's necessary, I would have liked that more.
The kingdom needs an heir.
You forget that the royal family is bless with the dragon's powers. The ones born with gold hair and gold eyes.
Yeah, I read raws too. Sorry, but I think it’s a Wolf fault. It’s the price you pay if sleep with person and don’t confess to him or clarify relationship while being in position of power. If Wolf won’t explain his feelings after that, get mad to point he won’t speak or agree to it, I’m done with this.
Wolfgang is already suspicious of read head. And not because "hE's jeAloUs". He's looking at things calmly. He isn't even worried sick about Shin because he knows Shin is scheming something. The author shows us this. So, again, why is he not included? Why Shin has to go solo? There's no valid reason as to why the are not working in this together. I'm even beginning to think some people here like to think of Wolfgang as dumb just to make Shin the smart one. Show my baby wolf some respect. But anyways the plot doesn't make sense to me. It's kind of disappointing. Shin is the king's maker but he's just playing stupid games now sorry not sorry u.u
