I agree, though benefit of the doubt, the manga finally did address it in the more recent chapters. I think the mangaka handled it as well as she could (maybe she's also learned how problematic it is since the series first started serializing).
same, and the times that Maya is an asshole are so many that you can't even count it, I do my best not to think about it

I just kinda wish so many yaoi mangas didn't have outright rape or mildly dubious consent. It's a reoccurring theme and while it fits in some mangas, it's just not necessary in others, is what think. It's fiction but at the same time does EVERY yaoi have to involve rape/non con?
I don’t like rape either and I have looked at the translation on here, the official English translation, and the Japanese. I feel there is more to it and I did make a topic about it.
