The first was poorly written in terms of connection and relationship. The tachi forces himself on the neko and the neko strongly attached himself to the tachi in the end. That bond is weakly justified which makes their relationship bland and toxic. (just as poisonous as the flowers which the tachi told the neko after their first sex)
The second was cute but again, too quickly paced to even get a feel of their relationship. Strong emotions needs stronger justification.
The third is the most well written. Yui is more developed than Kei, though. To me, Kei's hatred doesnt even manifest itself beyond his words. Yui is interesting because his love manifests through his efforts to appease Kei and his insecurities surface through his actions.
When it's multistory, the plot doesnt progress well. Especially when the characters are given strong personalities that do not manifest or worse, become developed. There's only so few oneshots that work well to be satisfying instead of leaving you asking for more.

Well yeah, that's why he's all words about it. Just that his character seems to stop there for me that's why Yui felt more developed. The changes Yui made is apparent. Though, I reread it cause I forgot the story and see Kei's effort to get past his own lack of communication.

Yeaaaahhh and he shouldn't say tgat trans people who don't get surgery, be it because they don't want to or can't, aren't serious. If being a man and wearing skirts makes him happy, then that's what he should be doing!!

People need to understand ignorance in order to change it. Everything he said came from the hurt he experienced due to his father. That should have been further discussed so that we could see his progress in understanding.
