That too. It’s frustrating to see how Irene manipulates the crown prince for her own convenience and it’s much more frustrating how the prince responded. But yeah then again the emotional turmoil he had to go through was justifiable for his response at some point.

God I wish I could see this in real life, I feel like my life is like a soap opera sometimes because of the crazy family drama i’ve seen. Like betrayals I though only existed in books and shows. I remember it was at one point I had to hid my nieces and nephew and I thought
to myself, “God I swear someone’s writing this shit it’s too dramatic.”
Besides that, Irene Is a huge narc and a disgusting human being. But the Prince does have ways of outing her for blackmailing him and threatening him, I wish he’d just do that because even if she told the “true” story in how the prince died if he and whoever else was involved denied it and didn’t react there’s no way she could prove it’s the truth. （/TДT)/

lmao yeah if it’s true that’d be really obvious from our standpoint. I wouldn’t want to drag the innocent 5th prince to the picture but considering how the crown prince reacted, I mean he clearly wants to hide the truth but seeing how his relationship with the empress is I don’t see how this could damage him since at that point no one seems to be more eligible to be emperor than him; I kinda hope he’s a little bit involved, though looking at his personality and just how the 5th is in general I can see how unlikely that he is...oh well but one thing is for sure i want that irene thrown in the dumpster asap
Dumpster lady is still a title as it has the words “lady” involved so I’m sure she’d be content with getting at least that, seeing as threatening the royal family is punishable by death...but she is a selfish child stuck in an average low ranking nobel woman’s body. so she’ll probably throw a fit. I can’t wait till the day she trips up. Also with the Empress it’s clear he doesn’t favor his mother but blood is thicker than water. I know I have horrible relatives that have done nothing but hurt and betrayed my happiness but I can’t help but love and want to protect them. He’s so selfless it’s sad, he wants to love and be happy but he won’t risk his mother’s status and well being to do so. I think the empress is an even bigger suspect just because Irene is close with her and maybe the empress let her use that information against her son because she herself is a shameless and vain woman who wants status and power. That was a really annoying birthday celebration scene. Gawd the time and effort it took him to TRY and get to the FL was agonising to see. And that bitch.
