Mathew is an alpha (and had a slight crush on Ian lol).
And Jaeho really had an arranged fiancé when he was young, but from what I understood, his parents changed their mind (?) at the time of his 2nd alpha-examination.

Dont know if it's just me but it seemed like Mathew could have been an omega. During the first meet with Ian. Like he was coming on to him or something by so readily wanting to help or spend time with him. I mean based on the fact that he sucks at smells. And that the supposed arranged marriage was in talks from when his friend was a kid. That could mean that theres a possibility of Mathew having a second gender test and turned out being a alpha or recessive alpha by chance. And maybe this is as usual, a big misunderstanding.
In this case Mathew isn't Jaeho's Fiance, Jaeho inserted himself so Ian and Mat wouldn't be alone. And in terms of the past. Jaeho has liked him and also possibly knew Ians gender but didn't want others to look at him that way... idk just guessing
