I speak English, and the grammar isn’t the best, however you can get the gist of what they are supposed to be saying, which is enough for me :)
But that stops/slows down (?) the story :(

how can you get the "gist" of it if the sentence does not make logical sense? not even talking about the meaning behind it.
how is "now mercy" make any sense? what is that even mean anyway? I'm not kidding, I really asking that. unless you organize it in your head, it does not make any logical sense. just like putting two words together with no connection.
I read English everyday since 3 years now, and I read Shakespeare's. I'm also a English Literature student. I can say that I get by in English. But "now mercy" and "then attack" are incomprehensible （￣へ￣）
that called "fill it with your mind" and I"m not going to start guessing what they meant. That called bad translation, you don't need to do the guessing or translation part, it's either clear or not clear.
I'm French, I'm studying English, and even I can say that this translation has a few problems :c
