in my opinion, very worth it! many characters in stories like these are semi-lacking in the main character area. my favorite of all, solo leveling, is also in this. but, in this story, we see a lot more of his personality and he's witty, funny, interesting, and above all that, hardworking. he's very honest. so it may seem a little annoying now, but it's rewarding later.
I also recommend that you maybe drop this for now and put it on a back burner. wait until this story has more chapters. then you'll see the cooler side of him more often, most likely.

I know that the MC will develop further but it’s so hard to start this his personality is shitty and is basically a good for nothing in the real world. I’m not frustrated because he’s weak and that he’s not the typical good natured MC but there’s a limit to being a good for nothing (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ and his driving force isn’t really helping too. I’m pretty sure he’ll become OP and respectable in the future but idk. Can someone tell me if the frustration from the early chapters is worth it? (￣∇￣") (I’m in ch9)
