There is another volume being released at the end of this year; at the end of December to be a little more precise . . . So chapter 28 is not the end.

This love story is so powerful and real. It’s one of the most raw and emotional mangas I’ve read in a while, and the end ripped my heart out but made sense at the same time. Suzuki and Sugiki are very much in love—I would, without a doubt, go as far as to say soulmates— but they don’t understand the complexity of their feelings, and push each other away because of it. I hope in the future they can grasp the understanding of their feelings and come together as they were always supposed to.
Also I don’t know if chapter 28 is the end but there was an afterword from the author so it seems completed? I guess we’ll just have to see
