But that part where Sesshomaru would send Rin gifts often, and the last one - she gave Rin a Kimono (kimono’s are said to be very expensive and in ancient times - men give their women/wife or mistress this to express intent) Im not really in depth on this. Anyone can prove me wrong. I don’t mind. Im not really a fan of their ship cause she’s too young for me. But if the writer/author can make a convincing story, why not? I will just wait and see cause its already announce the Sesshomaru’s twin daughters are half human.

At that time she doesn't really look like his daughter but sure like someone very dear to him and the new story takes plce years after so now she must be an adult and not a kid anymore so why not. I can't see sesshomaru with another human but if rin is the mother then the kid is an hanyo it shoulb tough for him when he was so disgusted by inuyasha who was also one.
I'm very much hoping it's Rin. I'm sure people find it weird but I don't see how. I remember watching Inuyasha at 15 and their interactions to me...wasn't a father-daughter bond at all. Not even brotherly-sister bond. She was someone who needed saving and he saved her and at the time, he believed humans were beneath his notice.
As you progress through, you start to notice the change in their relationship. Of course it's not lovers status cause she's a kid but you can definitely see that he is very fond of her and protective.
He also left her with Kaede and I think because of this separation (though he does visit.) will stop that family bond others are trying to tie them down with. If Rin is the mother then I hope, during the sequel; we'll get to see how Sesshomaru and Rin's relationship progressed after everything. Even episodes of Rin growing up would be great.
My friend is a big Inuyasha buff. Sōta is about the age of Rin and he raised Towa.

Possible? cause I was actually having doubts, Gaaaahh! Rumiko-Sensei is a meanie, its starting to feel like she’s holding out the info about the mother on purpose. I even started trolling people I know telling them its Sango cause its a twin and that Miroku and Rin are dead, so I won’t get disappointed if it’s not Rin
