Actually they're half siblings, her dad married the stepmother and the younger sister who was born spoiled to the core bcs (spoiler ahead) they discovered that she have paranormal vision, which MC doesn't have. Her father doesn't love her late mom at all. He pretty much treated the MC kindly just because he thought she would inherit their 'abilities' . When MC still doesn't show the sign at age 3(?) , he ditched both MC and her mum.

and you know whats worse the dad of the MC treats the stepdaughter so much better even though she is not the biological daughter of the dad the MC is the biological daughter but she is treated worse. what about the saying bros before hoes well something like that but still the whole family(except the MC) are bitches
