Is this included with season 2 where the focus shift to his little brother as the MC?

So far I find the comic interesting but I got to admit that this is so weird... Not sure if the MC is totally sane either.
Either way he is easily manipulated by other's opinions and so far gets hurt for following them in the end. Like who are they to judge!!? He isn't strong and doesn't have much going for him more than everyone else but they want him to sacrifice himself for their a*ses?
Example: kid being bullied by these giant guys.
While I wish he could help I don't know what he could have done in that moment. Why become the next sacrifice? That would be the only thing that would happen if he survived their beating. No teacher or adult was around. Not one sports type or strong good-natured kid was around him either. Even if he told later they would hunt him down and the kid being bullied could easily have done the same regardless just seeing him in class afterwards.
Not saying I except bullies and such but you've got to be smart about it. I go by the thought:
1st take care of yourself, then your family, then everyone else.
If you can't care for yourself to a degree then how can you care for your family? If you care for strangers before your family then what does that make you? I get that isn't always the case since some families are not to cozy with each other but that is my general principle.
