Well yeah he was showing signs but who knows lmao, it said that he had no choice but to do that (I mean u know with trashta) ╮(￣▽￣)╭
And besides it was mentioned on the novel (when the ball happened when both the concubine and empress has both wore red dress) when trashta was flirting with another guy the stupiddoggy wasn't actually showing any sign of jealousy (￣∇￣")
There is possibility that stupiddoggy like the empress BUT she always show an indifferent expression, i think it was mentioned that he wants a wife(like someone who cares for him and love him) and not an empress( who is cold and indifferent to her surroundings)......i dunno its just my own views.....oh also what he feels for trashta may just be pity

Yeah! Where as trashta already loves him, some spoilers in the comments that I saw before (probably their theory that I would 100% agree) is the stupiddoggy already likes the FL since they were a child but he couldn't give that love back because trashta appeared and he couldn't do anything about it....
I think in the novel it was mentioned too but I don't remember reading it lolololol I think they showed the point of view of the stupiddoggy where as it stated that he genuinely likes the FL but is already too late to confess it to her because of trashta's appearanceヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

He genuinely loved her but was helpless because of trashta? Like it needs to be made clear that a person canNOT genuinely love one person and while GENIUNELY loving her, FALL in FUCKING love with another.

When trashta met that goldendoggy on the room the goldendoggy asked for some jewelry to keep trashta's secret about the baby (lol kinda I forgot but it's in the novel sooo) BUT she accidentally gave a ring that is worth than any kind of ring to the goldendoggy, okay so timeskip so the stupiddoggy asked trashta where did she put the ring and said she gave it to the maid because she felt pity on the "mAiD" and then stupiddoggy said that THAT ring was very important and etc... Trashta realized the worth of the ring and cried and said sorry and stuff made excuses and so on, SOOOO the stupiddoggy asked the FL to gave trashta the ring (because the FL also has the same ring that trashta have) but the FL refuses and told him that it wasn't her fault that trashta got her ring lost the stupiddoggy told her that, why is she being like that and stuff (basically the FL was the mean one is was he meant ╮(￣▽￣)╭) so the FL snapped and told him that it's not her responsibility to take care of trashta, so the FL leaves and then stupiddoggy realizes that this time it was his fault and thus it things happened.....
And I do think that when the FL and stupiddoggy went somewhere (to celebrate the FL's birthday I think) he like--- shows some signs that he likes (づ￣ ³￣)づ
