The fact that Arwin felt incredibly guilty that he's the cause of Anton's life being miserable, to the point that he even wanted to stay behind the fire just to be with him, the guilt he felt that Klaus died cause Anton was there to save him.. ALL THAT EMOTION.... And you think Arwin wouldn't even think of compromising his freedom, to give his life entirely to Anton who risked his life to give him a future, even if it means locking himself up.. Really???? Thats the whole point of the plot build up though.

And you think it was for "secret pleasure"? Ohmygod... Anton wanted a normal future together with him. Yes, they could've done just THAT in the ending.. BUT WITH ANTON'S EMOTION (which is he also feels guilty that his dad died protecting him) he wanted to uphold his promise to his dead father out of respect maybe. So she still married that girl despite loving Arwin.. Dudeee.... Theres SO MUCH emotion going on in there from each of the character.. How...

I mean, I do understand if you're not the emotional type since the logical way of looking at the ending is indeed, it is wrong... But its realistic if you consider the character's feelings and thoughts. I'd rather call it, sad or unfortunate rather than wrong

Remember the owner of the salon saying that a lot (A LOT of rich and dangerous men) wants Arwin for themselves that they will even resort to murder (almost since that girl he hit lived) THAT'S HOW DANGEROUS IT IS FOR ARWIN. And even if they managed to lock that guy in prison. Who knows how many out there would try to kidnap him for their own pleasure. That's why Arwin's whereabouts must be kept in secret... And since they both love each other but CANNOT have a normal, quiet life together. That was the only choice Arwin had. To lock himself safe. Again. Compromise. Put yourself in their dangerous situation, okay hun?
Its a realistic ending based on how the situation is... Unless you want them suddenly living happily ever after, picking flowers and running around the daisy field or someshit while the bad guys grew halos over their head... Now tell me which makes sense more LMAO.

There is no true happy ending for Arwin in that society. He was born low and a prostitute, that's with him for life. No matter where he goes he'll run into trouble. Anton is his best case scenario in this messed up world. At least Arwin is locked up by his own choice. The father never recovered from his wife's death, stuck in the past and projected his own worries and insecurities on his son. His dead made sense. As for Anton marrying a woman, he had to, to carry on his family line and as a duty for his father's final wish. Arwin fully recognize his own limits and will probably not mind Anton sleeping with his wife. It's a bittersweet ending, but love it self cannot change shitty circumstances. I do wish there was more, but I jst hope the wife is understanding (tho it sucks for her too).

Some of us who read yaoi are just too much hanged on getting sweet ending with a fucking rapist who has raped the so called his lover in the very first chapter. I totally agree with everything you said and it's not so happy but yet okay ending for Arwin.In the world where there are evil men out there to hurt you and to use your body as their toy for pleasure, where anywhere you go you would end up getting used,it's better for a person to stay with someone who truly loves and cherishes even if it's locked up (atleast he gets loved for who he is and wont get used by hundreds of men who don't even know and care about how he feels)Just some people are hanged up on sweet ending outta nowhere don't mind them hun.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Yess trueeee ╥﹏╥ and this series is hands down, the most emotionally driven story I have read (so far) its sad and unfortunate that most people didn't get or understand each character's deep, complicated emotions because they're too hung up on the actions itself, not the cause of the actions. This is seriously a good manhwa.
