Although they're not as popular (wherever you live), you can find a good number of foreign movies that have subtitles in your language. That's likely the case in this most recent chapter as well.
And what I meant by "not as popular wherever you live" was that films made in your home/current country are usually more popular than foreign films in general. Of course, there are always exceptions like Marvel movies, the Matrix series, certain horror/sci-fi movies, and many others that are/were popular worldwide for years.

Nah, he’s completely deaf, he’s just really good at reading lips (unless they’re speaking too fast). But yeah, there were subtitles, and I’m assuming a LOT of gore in that movie.
Ya they mentioned he can't hear at all. And there have been lots of times people snuck up on him (purposely)
While he is completely deaf though, he can read lips really well and use visual aid, such as facial expressions or body language. Which after living his entire life with, he would be pretty damn good at.
He can still talk vocally as well, though they have also mentioned its rare when he does and only around those he trust or is comfortable with. Hence why though you may find a tag with this series being under Voice Fetish lol.
