ooo i think i know why. Most people get biased if they see a comment with more of something. So if theres a lot of thumbs up then youll likely to put a thumb up aswell

but it seems like a glitch because sometimes many comments in a row appear with the same number of likes and dislikes or even after you like you cant see it anymore the ratio its a little annoying (〜￣△￣)〜

Youre forced to make a decision whether to agree or disagree with the statement before seeing the numbers. I guess thats the point why they removed them. Its because some people agree with a topic simply because it has many upvotes. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

the main problem for me isnt that you cant see the likes or dislikes before u pick, its that even after you like/dislike when u come back to the question u cant see it

most of the times, i don't actually like or dislike things and just check out people's opinion
it's bothersome that i can't get a 'feel of the atmosphere' i guess
