Nah yeah I get that. It's just that the word "turning" gay or straight can have a negative connotation. It honestly reminds me of what my homophobic peers would say, like the idea that they could turn someone straight by meeting the right vagina or penis. Saying "falling in love with blank even though you're blank" would have been better. Then again, you're right it really doesn't matter lol. It just kinda left a bad taste in my mind is all. :)

Ooof, yea, he was never straight, to begin with. Bi anyone? If he likes a guy, he's bi, if he likes a girl...still bi. I personally find this phrase very problematic, turning "gay" or "straight" just doesn't happen.
