Right?? I can feel the gay energy between them. When I saw that, I couldn't help but wonder if, in the original plot, the Prince seduce the girl so she wouldn't end up with Ale. The Prince looks like he'll go yandere if this was BL. This is shoujo though so I doubt it would happen, but it's nice to think about it orz. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
The art for this manhua is very beautiful. I like the Knight turned maid the best though. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ She's really pretty and very cool uwu. I actually like her better than the FL tbh.
I hope this wouldn't turn cliche with the Crown Prince falling in love with FL. ( ̄へ ̄) I'm still open for a side BL plot twist or something. (Maybe it's just me, but I felt something when I saw the crown prince caress Ale's face. ლ(´ڡ`ლ).) Even if it isn't BL, it would be nice if this wouldn't devolve to a love triangle with the original FL replaced with the current FL. That trope's too overdone and would cheapen the plot. It's irritating in the latest chapter when, instead of acting professionally so FL wouldn't catch the Prince's attention, she instead, put on an obviously dissatisfied face that would get the attention she said she doesn't want. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ Makes me want to drop the manhwa if not for Liliana orz. Lily's the only good thing that happened in the latest chapter. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
Contrary to popular opinion however, I'm not against the fact that the FL's saying she can't be together with ML because if we're taking the setting of this story seriously, FL can't be nothing more than a mistress orz. She doesn't have an inferiority complex imo. If it's in a modern setting, you can say that she has one cause status and hierarchy isn't as important in the modern times, but this is historical lah. It's only practical that she doesn't go all gaga and lovey dovey with the ML immediately since they don't have the same status. She'll only be looked upon as an overreaching hussy if she ignores what they're saying and her goal, right from the start, is to make ML happy. Ruining his reputation wouldn't help with that and I'm sure she knows how much he cares for her. She's just using the novel plot from before to comfort herself.
That's not to say what she's doing is right since by doing so, it seems like she's still treating this world as a novel and it's people as fictional characters. However, the plot and the characterization makes sense. It's slow but it's logical so far. ( ̄∇ ̄")
