I’m fluent in English and I was still confused by the story. I honestly thought his parents had died in that fire until I read the last chapter where he mentions talking to his mom,

the dad was the only one who died.
In the flashback to the fire, there was only a picture of the dad signifying that his dad was the only one who died.
it may have seemed confusing because there was a part in the comic that said something about his moms injuries, but i’m pretty sure the moms still alive.

His mom got injured, she wasn't able to recover from the injury but alive as stated in the story.
The mother is alive but was ill and she lives at their house but he sihwoo lives in an apartment near his college
the story-line was not the best to understand? i don't know if it's because i'm not fluent in English, but it was difficult to see what happened to his mother and stuff. the art was really beautiful but can someone help me understand the story better?
