Nah, I have seen a good balance of both, there isn't room for creative plots with healthy slice of life stuff though....
...Remember mangaka are catering to their paying audience bc they want to get paid, they aren't writing based on their personal preference. It is bizness. Their core audience is not 'Westerners' they are writing for another culture.
Yes, thank you! I hate it when rape scenes are painted as hot and shit like that. I rly like this manhwa because it doesn't do that. It's so depressing, too lol. And authors who bring up issues in the LGBTQ community or just societal problems are such blessings. A lot of harassment/assault in yaoi mangas/manhwas are portrayed so lightly as if relationships are supposed to be like that (not to mention some Thai BL series/movies).
Is it just me or do you guys also think that a vast amount of yaoi mangaka is allergic to writing healthy relationships?
