Please correct me if I'm wrong. I want to help clear the confusion regarding whether Paulo knows that Saliou is Gabriel's first love. As far as I remember, Paulo did not see, and cannot see, his own appearance (as Saliou) when he was showing Gabriel an illusion about having sex with his first love. Gabriel was the only one who sees Saliou. (Please refer to the link below). Therefore, he should't have any idea how the first love looks. I don't remember Paulo finding out that Saliou and Gabriel's first love was the same person.
