    And yours?

The first Yaoi that I've read was Junjou Romantica, I was pleasantly surprised that it was like so shoujo-ish...

until much much later when I found out there's bara and other sub-genre that so much more smutty and sexy.

Ten years into Yaoi, I'm a full fledged Fujoshi! Now I can read everything!

I probably was like “damn I like this i wanna read more” honestly though I don’t really remember I was innocent one day then one day I was slapped with yaoi.

At first I thought it was weird since I'm a dude but by time it started making me feel some way. And here I am now. Drawn like a moth to a flame. Absolutely addicted.

At first I was disgusted (dont hit me) I was way young and came from a conservative family. 5 years later I rediscovered yaoi and it's the best thing ever lol.

I didn't even know I was reading a bl fanfic and things could get smutty between two guys. I just thought they liked each other and wHaT cOuLd pOsSiBblY hApPeN??? In the end, they had sex, which I couldn't 100% comprehend at that time.

Ahhh, to be innocent and ignorant. How I miss those times

There ARE times I hoped not to discover yaoi. Sometimes I feel guilty reading it bc I didn't expect myself to be so dirty-minded.

Have you never feel as such?

I mean who’s gonna see what you’re thinking? Unless they’re mind readers (or studied psychology) ain’t nobody know if you dont show emotion on your face. And if someone who knows you try to make fun of you for it tell them that it ain’t their business and to stick their nose back from where it came from.

Sometimes. Especially after I read really smutty manga that I never thought I would enjoy.
But I tried to control myself, like I would never read violence or shota-con manga.
    That's just beyond my limits.

Honestly I wasn’t really disgusted when I discovered it I mean it’s a going into a girls and guys do that too. I just discovered a whole new genre of manga but I guess my first impression was pretty good I read Sweet Trap first and it was a fluffy yaoi. I’m going 1 1/2 years strong and I can’t say I regret it. (•ᴗ•)و

I’d still read them like some of them aren’t just pure trash, they’re psychological they get into what the victim feels you know? Like Killing Stalking is a popular one :).

I was intrigued. Then I started gathering recommendations from twitter. I had so much fun after quiet a lot of reads, and now I think most shounen ai/yaoi mangas/manhwas has much better plot than shoujos (ofc excluding those who have r*pe and dubcon shts).

My family is conservative, you see. My sister scolded me when she found out. She told me to never read bl again. Obviously, I failed. I've only managed to stop for 2-3 years.

I can't tell her off bc it's not like I don't understand where she's coming from.

I was confused bc honestly i didnt even noticed the gender of the main characters (if that makes sense) until I got to the ecchi scenes. I read some more because I was satisfied with the plot of the story, and it got me curious. I realized that yaoi stories are much more fun and interesting to read bc they are easy to understand and it makes my heart go giddy and badump badump.
