Yeah but the mc in this novel wont seduce the king if the villain is a good person and wont kill the king with their own son. this villainess tried to kill her at first meeting and the king didn’t bring her in as a concubine but as a hostage. the villainess is not even the wife yet but is just a self proclaimed fiancée of the king unlike in the remarried empress.
That redhead don't even love erudian a single inch. She's just there to rob him his power.

I wasn't trying to justify the villainess, nor did I want their positions to switch. I was just thinking that the situation looked similar and reminded me of remarried empress. That's all.
The villianess is just too power hungry.. This goody emperor is killed by his own son.. Tried to kill MC, which is the kingdom's hostage and also she uses her black magic as she pleases just to bring her forth benefits..
I know she's the fl, and the villainess is evil indeed. But if I were in the villainess' shoes, I'll be pretty pissed off when the man you like suddenly brings in a girl.
Kinda like remarried empress' situation, is what I'm saying.
