You make it sounds like she is the one in control, but her influence over those nobles depends on their mood. They spoil her, when they are happy, and vent at her, when they are unhappy. Those gifts and informations are what she gets in exchange for submission.

Agreed. I do find it impressive that she is able to gain their affections and use it to her advantage.
Sasha isn't really the pet here if you think about it... she just acts that way and gets information and free gifts but in the end they are the ones bending to her will.
Edit: So to be clear i more meant that since she uses it to her advantage its not as much of a one sided thing, but she is a pet, shes just a pet who wants to live life to the fullest i guess
