Don’t hate me

Don’t really like the second couple; they seem like a headache. BJ Alex was a nice read, the art was good and the main characters were cohesive (for the most parts) but this might tarnish my BJ experience a little.

even if I hadn’t read the most recent chapters I wouldn’t have liked this pairing very much. However, I do plan on finishing BJ Alex since I’d like to see the development.

Wow lot of downvotes. I'll say I always skipped their chapters because it was always jist sex no plot. Also I somehow don't buy Chanwoo as an M he's so sassy irl. I think I've just never seen him vulnerable so I can't relate to him and never seen MD be either. It's not going to ruin the story for me I think I might be let down by this couple regardless

Yeah, I expected the downvotes. I agree with you very much

So you think that if someone likes to be a sub during scenes they have to be what? Meek and docile? Kind and quiet? Or maybe even pushovers? SMH.

No, I just don't find his character to be cohesive. He wasn't woven into the storyline enough for me to fell anything for his character. I don't really care what he's into for sex I was just commenting that because I barely got to see anything about him as a person besides being DG's supportive sassy friend and then we go STRAIGHT into their BDSM which is jarring for me. If I wanted to read smut I'd search for it

Basically there was no buildup to their sex scenes so it's hard for me to buy their passion in the sex scenes it's kind of emotionless BDSM

You wrote was "Also I somehow don't buy Chanwoo as an M he's so sassy irl". This sentence is self-explanatory. Then you added that "I think I've just never seen him vulnerable so I can't relate to him". So he's not a believable M because he's too sassy and wasn't ever shown as vulnerable. o_O I fail to see the correlation - why does his character need to show his vulnerability in order to be believable in his sexual preference?
We knew he liked BDSM from the first chapters of the story, which I think is reason enough but even without it would be perfectly understandable for me. Why do BDSM elements have to have a reason or explanation? ._.
We get some character development in this side story I guess, but maybe it's easy to overlook due to all the smut.
"If I wanted to read smut I'd search for it" ... literary the second most popular tag for this webtoon is smut. Main characters kept fucking all the time but their relationship and characters were more developed... maybe it's something to do with them being the main characters of the story, who knows.
This story is full of smut even without the side couple and there is no reason why Chanwoo cannot just like being an M AND there is no reason why their relationship can't go from purely sexual to romantic.
If you don't like BDSM or don't want to read it here, in particular, it's fine but like... Lack of character development has nothing to do with it.
Also, don't mind me, sometimes I just get spontaneously annoyed, nothing personal. Whatever's to your fancy.

Being an M or an S is never just sexual preference. Wanting to inflict pain and wanting pain to be inflicted is not something purely sexual. Those things have a way deeper meaning. Some people are good at hiding who they are and only letting it out in certain scenarios (par example sexual scenarios). Point is, it’s hard to understand why chalk is an M without any background information or any entail on his character. It’s perfectly believable that he has a sassy exterior but is an M on the inside yet there needs to be an explanation as to why he’s the way he is or else it’ll be hard to empathize.

Well, true, it is not something purely sexual, but then most preferences don't fit into only one category. I was not discussing that there cannot be some deeper meaning, only wondering why does it always have to be explained on-screen before it happens, if you get me. Also sometimes meaning is *deeper*, but not that deep after all.
I'm fine with explanation while they're getting it on or after or in between or even not at all. But then again, for me, it was enough that he stated an interest in more hardcore stuff.

Thank you! The replier was rude in their response that I didn't bother to explain myself. What I meant was that there was little to no character building for this couple for the whole expanse of the series so it's hard to follow any progression of their story now since it's built on close to nothing. I have read many stories with characters with kinks but never accused them of not being able to pull of their kink because everyone has preferences. I fail to connect in any way emotionally because there wasn't anything to connect to. All I see is them doing BDSM for all their chapters and nothing else at all. I don't have much to say because their characters were not fleshed out and there is not depth to their story.

How was I a dick to you? :D I did not write anything rude to you AT ALL, only disagreed with you, and if that's being a dick to you... Aren't you taking it a bit too to yourself? Discussion concluding in disagreement is not exactly being rude. :]
One could even argue who was actually polite in our little convo since I did not flippantly brush you off and did not imply that you're a dick. ._.
    Have a good day anyway!

    1. If you don't see how your first response was rude I don't know how to help you - but I think you did since you decided to say in your next "sorry I get spontaneously annoyed"
    2. Then tried to pick apart my next response and prior like we were having a fight - the whole way you phrased everything was aggravated/aggravating which dispels civil conversation
    3. You only started saying have a good day after I did to try to pretend you've been civil this whole time
    4. If you had phrased anything politely I'd be happy to discuss but I'm over it due to your rude way of conversing

    1. Do you mean "SMH"? ._. Otherwise it was a perfectly reasonable question. And if SMH is rude to you, once again - I think you might be taking things too personally.
Yes, I know I cam of as annoyed which is why I wrote "sorry I get spontaneously annoyed" which in no way suggests that my comment is rude. xD It was more about the volume than the tone.
    2. A fight? Well, damn. o.o While you are discussing with someone it is perfectly normal to refer to their comments and "pick them apart". You did a similar thing in a previous point.
    3. No, I just don't usually write "Have a nice day" under my every comment, but since you wrote it, I thought I might as well to show that there are "no hard feelings" on my part. :P I must've not been clear enough with my greetings.
    4. Fine by me, feel free to not reply or reply or block me or follow me or whatever you want. Still, my comments were not rude. I did not attack you personally, I questioned your words, not you. ._.
