He is female but his memory has been tampered with so that he thinks he's male. It's supposedly a mercy for him because female lycans that are separated from their mates are in pain. And he'd marked suwa as his mate when they were kids. Which they also erased from his memory.

i have binge read this series and i have come to the point where i literally have 0 clue what is happening, like wtf is with the lycan stuff in the newest chapters? is he or is he not a female lycan? im confused, why does he say "i cant have his child"? if anyone can clear this up for me please do
