It really doesn’t but at the same time he had no one to say what he did was either right or wrong. Like when ed said that he needed to stop what he was doing and was crying he didn’t know what he did was wrong because ever since he grew up he didn’t know the difference of right or wrong which makes me sympathize him a bit but he’s still trash for doing such a thing.
Having a bad past or experiences doesn't justify his current actions. He is still trash.
