I think she thinks that way because of the contract, that been a misunderstanding in her part shown in the previous chapters. And I guess she trusts that maid because she is the first person who shown her kindness during her hellish stay in her previous family and you see children trust easily when they were shown kindness. And it's really frustrating to see her being stubborn sometimes, the guards are too soft for her they don't want to see her upset.
Yea, I get that way because of the contract but I kinda think it doesnt take away from my point. She knows well enough not to just trust people, ya know?? but i also get what youre saying. it's just vvv frustrating
I don't see why the guards obey her when they get their orders from the duchess.
It just make them look incompetent or careless while it show how spoiled Leslie is. It's a good look for neither, since one don't do their job and the other look down on someone doing their job.
It's nice too she that she's being loved by her new family but you're right she's too spoiled. Even the guards are spoiling her when they saw her upset they Automatically obey her orders. If this thing will continue she will face a lot of trouble I hope she matured enough in the next chapters.
I understand she's a child, but sending guards out was stupid. She won't expect love from her new family, but she easily trusts an old maid?? Like watching her guards go out was frustrating and I wish the guards would've just said no and that they were ordered to stay??
