Not going to excuse her actions here but she was 14 years old when she gave birth to Ewon. The priest was a predator who groomed her to be his victim, strung her along, kept their relationship secret, convinced her to abandon their child in a way that would kill him and that’s what we do know about the situation.
It’s understandable that she would be emotionally and psychologically screwed up. Why they had a second child? Probably for the same reason they had the first one. Dude didn’t want to wear protection. The priest also could have wanted a way to further control and manipulate the woman as well.

Ewon shouldnt answered the phone call. Its sickened how stupid his mother is. I think taking responsibility for his sister is more than enough. He even paid their debt with his saving.
