If I remember from the novel, I think MXY's harassment of JGY is legit. They said it was his wife in the drama because of cencorship.
Advice: Don't use the drama as reference. Things are super different, it confused me bit time.

It took me a while to get that the one who was chased by MXY was JGY as in the drama they stated that it was his wife. But wasn't it made up by JGY to kick MXY out of the clan? So why would he make himself to be the harassed one?
