I have to agree that Adele's character development is really starting to tick me. I've never liked women who blackmail love from their partner and use threats to get attention. Big fat fake tears notice me senpai. Really revolting behaviour.
totally agree. she is abusing him at this rate just because she is insecure. A mature woman dont play petty games with the guy she love and actually respect. And Adele is not that mature woman.

I never thought I'd make a comment here or that this is the one that I would be commenting on but OH MY LORD! Adele is a sad excuse for a partner. Sure she's clever, inspiring, and beautiful, she can be caring and brave, but she's also rash, reckless, inconsiderate and worse of all manipulative. It's disgusting how many hoops she makes her "love" jump through. Even if she has a reason, she doesn't even stop to consider his feelings when she forces her whims on him. Sure she can be called a strong female heroine but she certainly doesn't deserve the duke. Not after what she's put him though.
To her defense, she was brought into this situation, but even that can't save her because she could have easily walked away. Adele CHOSE to continue the farce, when Felix was against it from the start. Love takes time, not months, but often years and she's tryign to force it out of him because it inconvienient for her that there are rumors. If anyone doesn't knwo what love is it's ADELE. If she truely loved him she wouldn't wait for him to romance her. If she were really a strong female love interest, she would use her resourcefulness, her independence and enginuity to force him to look only at her. Surprise him, overwhelm him with her reomantic affection and be patient. Instead we get this bullshit!
