I think she just thought he was being flirty since at the time, she thought he was seeing several girls.
She felt insecure and before he even told her he loved her she though if she told him that he wouldn't come anymore and separate himself from her...after I think that she was just really insecure I dont know why but I think if because she thought he only lived her for her hole...? But ion know
i dont see the reason she didn't tell him that she loved him when he said it first... you love him right so why give such a bland response and act like its whatever
