I think that is the biggest problem of there model. I’m thinking of buying all chapters of virtueman. But that cost like 100 euro. And then i don’t own anything. Normally i spent 100 euro’s on a manga box. Maybe if they go for w model like netflix. Pay like 20 euro’s a month to read unlimited. Pay 10 euro’s a month to only read rated 18- stuff. Etc etc. There many ways to go around. Lezhin is just expensive as hell. I think authors would profit more if more people would pay.

I majorly agree. I would definitely read comics on Lezhin if their system was like that. I wouldn't even mind if instead of buying the manga, you could rent it for a little while for cheaper. I think their company would profit in the long run, but at the same time I guess they're earning enough money to not have to consider changing

I don't know why mangago only lets me reply to one person...
But somehow this reminds me of that times of Lezhin controversy. In addition that Lezhin is already expensive as hell (one or two episode on Lezhin gets me a softcopy of a manga in my country, not even joking), I doubt that many of the profit even goes to the authors. That is just what I feel though, because of that problem I now have trust issues with them. Also, especially compared to Line/Naver Webtoon, where all their comics are for free, Lezhin definitely are being unreasonable here. Honestly, if they are willing to cut the profits that goes to the company but keep the profits for the authors the same (in other words, decreasing the price), I feel like this piracy problem may not be as bad as it is now.
