Basically the prince thinks Aria is Mielle and gifts Mielle tonnes of presents and favours her and helps her dad’s company (by sending Lane to help out) while Aria has to sit and watch and wonder who the hell is sending this and why. Also the credit of the fur idea is given to Mielle, and her dad doesnt deny that Mielle gave the idea
The mum also gives up on Aria’s marriage and future bc she thinks nothing good will come from her so she begins to favour Mielle more and gets excited for Oscar and Mielle

I love how the story is flowing almost exactly as the novel! Everytime I see Oscar I remember his poor decisions in the novel grrr. Personally I think Aria's mom is a great mom but she just doesn't know how to show it.
