I agree. and the fact he refused to knock her out even if it be easier for him and his man that way shows how kind he is.
even if she is his hostage, he will not do anything to harm her physically. he didn't kidnap her cause he enjoys it, he just didn't have a choice. and it clear he does not want to kill or hurt her people. but he still need to do something about it XD
Now I get it why she loved Euradian character so much when she read the novel though he's not the ML and cried her heart out when he got killed.
Somehow it's so romantic, transmigrating into the novel to save the one you like.
To think that he even prepared hostage a castle, shape like in her country, while her father just left her sister & niece as hostage for 10 year due to greed & selfishness.
