This kind of plot is becoming common you know, like in the first part of SAO. I wouldn’t say that it’s a rip off tho cuz aside from the tower, everything else is different. It might not be as great as the others but it’s still interesting.
This tower or dungeon aspect, where each floor or level makes the character stronger is a very old concept. A lot of fantasy action mangas incorporate this concept in the overall story or to buildup the character.
Is this a tower of god rip off? The webtoon one? The whole tower idea seems exactly like it even if the two plots are different
