This manga seems...

I don't know what to think of this. It seems like she wants the little kid (who is eight years old) to fall in love with her? Firstly, that's a young child, secondly, she doesn't have to fall in love with the person who is clearly not meant to love her and thirdly, the translation seems very confusing...
Idk. Just my opinion.

The translation here is really rough. In the novel, at least, she definately is NOT trying to make him fall in love with her. When she says "I'll become the heroine" she really just means she'll become the main character of her own story, rather than living as the childhood friend/sweetheart of the hero who wastes her life waiting for him in a small village while he falls in love with another girl. In the novel, she actually starts distancing herself from him and starts learning alchemy and bc of her modern and game knowledges is hailed as a genius alchemist.

    SPOILERS.....

There are some hints though that there's something happening to the hero (he keeps dreaming about the game FL even though he hasn't met her yet and its mentioned that his eyes have gotten darker) that forced him to forget about the childhood friend and fall in love with the FL.

Thanks for the clear, it just suddenly got weird when she proposed that she would be the "heroine" and I was like, "Wait you're 20 years old mentally !"

Thank you, I was like one moment she was talking about going to the city (and have a new life) then she was like I'm going to be the heroine......I was sooo confused!

    Thank you for clarifying.

On the note of spoilers...can you please elaborate? Is it like a setting that the hero is being brainwashed or will there be some changes now?

Ps. I tried to find the translated version of the novel, which is only 10 chapters out of 100. :(((( can u pls spoil more
