Right? Being too cautious isn't that bad. Also because I've read and seen l too much.
Am I the only one feeling distressed for our mc? Like I understand why she's over thinking. First day there she encountered hostile maids, trying to peacefully sleep she woke up with an unknown man then learning later he's the crown prince. And of course with what happened before (you know that white haired teacher that's an asshole) she wouldn't even wish to attain the duke's affection nor would she attempt. And will avoid all of them altogether.
I just hope that ml will treat her right and hope that ghe black haired woman is not a bitch and support mc : D
