The short answer is generally one game but that's not always the case. Also, technically nationals is a new tournament and red/yellow cards dont usually cross over. Honestly, it depends on their tournament rules but most likely he'll be good to play on the first match of nationals.
The penalty for a red card or two yellow cards is not playing in the next game. That's why he didn't play in the finals.
But after that he is all cleared and the National tournament is technically a starting over for all the teams that qualify :)
