Maybe this will be an unpopular opinion, but I really didn't like season 1. I felt like it was executed poorly, I didn't like either of the characters, and overall I just found it frustrating to read. Season 2 was so much better though. I love seeing creators grow over the span of a series, and I wasn't disappointed here. (Though the author still needs to learn how to indicate flashbacks properly; the visual cues were all over the place.) The character arcs of both main characters were really well done in season 2 and it was a lot more emotionally fulfilling to read.
The last couple chapters did feel a bit rushed in comparison with the pacing of the rest of the story, and I wish we had gotten a bit more about their new relationship moving forward. I also wish there had been more about Leo, either by giving him his own small character arc and turning him into less of a flat character or by showing that Skylar was a bit more emotionally invested in Leo's future.
And one last nitpick is I wish they hadn't changed Skylar's name from Wooju to Skylar since it seems like they kept all the other character and location names.
Overall though, this was a good read and I really enjoyed season 2! I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing new stories from this author.
