Yeah, but imagine what dojin has been through all his life from when he got separated from his loved one. It was the same for yellow dragon. But I don't know why I think it was way harder on Dojin. He was LONELY until the death returned him back to where he belonged T_T
Just the sadness on his face, all through the last episode got me so bad And once again my eyes are full of tears

Dojin's first wish was to get back to his sister and niece, he gets that; he's not alone. He got to cheat death...he was supposed to die when he got hit by that truck but he gets to live to be an old man. No one stopped him from loving again, that was his choice. It isn't sad, imho. It just is. YD could have been sleep for 60 years for all we know so he may not have been sitting in a corner crying.g

I'm not specifically talk about the their separation, I mean the whole manga and it contains the stabbing part.
You know when I read a fiction, I prefer it to be a happy ending in all kind of aspects, I mean we can have a messed up story but if the good ones in the story could be happy at the end, it would be great. Not a half-assed after life happiness like this one.
I can't tell a mangaka that how you should write your story so I just simply choose a manga according to my taste and as I reaaaaaly liked her/his Blood Link manga, I decided to read this one too but It was a wrong choice for me. But it seems it wasn't for you. So basically it depends on ones preferences
For me living an empty life like this is hundred times harder than death. When I know my beloved one is still somewhere out of my reach but they are alive and loveing me back, I just can't fall in love with some one else because i'm alone.
And his siter and niece had their own life and couldn't stay with him all through his life time. Also he wanted to be with them because he felt like they need him.
