You must have never had a family member bully you as you grow. Grudges don't fade so easily but it also depends on the person.
I agree with ya . Sometimes we think we can just but later on nah can't do that i love them but then hot bullied / fight wanna kill them but nah i love them and on so on
Actually my sister did that to me since I was young, insulted me and degraded me, During those times I hated her and I truly didn't want to be her family. However I told her that It wasn't funny for me, not just once but several times (once or twice my parents told her to stop but by that time my sister didn't care at all) until she finally noticed that what she was doing wasn't good.
Now I really love her and I can say she is one of my biggest supports, I know not everyone is this lucky and it also, as you said, depends on the person, I was in high school when I couldn't hold it anymore. Although the situation and how they bully that person.

I kind of annoys me that MC doesn't realise their brothers and father affection, It's kind of pityful seeing them trying to take care of her and to respect her little by little, but she keeps hating them even when they changed quite a lot taking into account how their world is, the amount of time sexism has existed and how they were rised. Obviously they still have to change LOTS of things but I just wish in the future she can love them. （￣へ￣）
