I'm Asian and whenever I cut myself or fall down, no one even bats an eye. It is certainly a bit exaggerated in webtoons.
Because it’s a small town and they didnt seem to have gangsters around before so it’s odd or maybe that guy is really kind I mean he is a pharmacist

keep in mind the main guy is a doctor, so obviously his mind would leap to the worst case scenario.
when i was a kid and even got a slight scratch my parents would immediately disinfect it, same with my school teachers, although my neighbors would just tell me to walk it off. it's a personal thing, i think, and is based off of what you trained for.
When I was a kid, it is a big deal for me. Cause my mother told me that if we dont treat it right away, all the food I ate would come out of that wound.

why do they always make a HUGE deal out of tiny scratches and bruises.. when i was little and cut myself i never ever had anyone come up to me to disinfect or clean cuts/ scratches. is it really a big deal in asia? or is it exaggerated in mangas/ webtoons?
